13 Prose-Zack Mountain Suddenly there was loud wailing sound, similar to a World War Two air raid siren, sounding all over the place. People were running, screaming, locking doors, and windows. He saw one women stumble and fall. In seconds there were three snappers who escaped from the run. They were ready to eat her. They caught her and were growling at her and each other. They looked similar to football players, with Doberman pinscher heads.
“Hey dogs,” Peter shouted. They glared at him as he touched down in the front of a home and picked up a number of bricks, then jumping back up into the air and flying over them, he started throwing bricks at them. He hit two of them. He hit one in the head and the other in the arm. He flew back to the yard and picked up some more bricks. He started taunting them.
"Hey dogs, what’s the problem? You can't handle a real man, so you attack women? Come on mutts; do something, you punk dogs.”
The snappers
dropped the woman and started scampering toward him. People were
watching from behind their barricaded doors and windows. A woman threw a
book towards him, shouting, "Here, use this.”
The book fell at his
feet. He picked it up and read, “Magic Holy Book. What I need is a
weapon not a holy book.” As soon as he said that, a sword flew out of
the book.
"All right.” he shrieked. “Let’s rumble! Come on puppies.”
The
snappers came running towards him. They were practically on top of him,
when he leaped in the air. Two ran into each other and started
fighting. Two more came scurrying to join the others. As soon as they arrived, they stopped fighting each other and ran after him.
He took the sword. He swung it like a bat. He hit one of the snappers and that snapper crumbled to powder.
“What? You snappers are just old powder. Come on, bring it on suckers.”
He leaped over them again. He wounded one and it turned into powder.
Another
snapper seized his foot, jerking him to the ground and restraining him.
He could not move. They were barking within an inch from his face. He could smell their bad breath.
